Northlight Theatre has become one of our regular customers as of late, and for their latest production, they’re bringing a unique thriller to the stage. Who thought that a play about stamp collecting could be suspenseful? Mauritius tells the story of half sisters who inherit a rare book of stamps that might contain one of the most prized stamps in the world. Be sure to see the show where surprises hide behind every corner. One thing that isn’t hiding are the Mauritius posters, which we’ll be distributing throughout the city.
Mauritius is at the Northlight Theatre February 25 through April 5th.

The sight of spring is almost coming into few with the beginning of March. Even though we’ll still have snow on the ground and the temperature will no doubt be somewhere between freezing and death, the Chicago History Museum will have a month loaded with events to coax you out of the house. Events include Inside Chicago Fashion, the lecture Is Chicago Shaping the Nation?, and lastly Chicago’s Birthday Party.
The Chicago History Museum is located at 1601 N. Clark St.

A sort of mix of sci-fi and burlesque, The Last Days of Desmond Nani Reese is a unique and exciting story. In 2014, an “ethno-femino-dance anthropologist” travels to the post apocalyptic city of L.A. to complete her dissertation on “The History of the World, as Told by Loose Women.” Her last subject is Desmond “Nani” Reese, a once famous stripper who is now a 108 year-old crazy cat lady. Written and performed by Heather Woodbury, Last Days is an entertaining look at outlaw women over the ages. Through poster and flyer distribution, direction is promoting this one-night-only event that you won’t want to miss.
The Last Days of Desmond Reese is at Steppenwolf Theatre’s Downstairs Theatre on March 3rd.

Stage Left Theatre is excited to present The Day of Knowledge from award-winning ensemble member David Alan Moore and Drew Martin. Forty days after an almost-unimaginable trauma, the lives of four families collide in a single night. Moore received a Jeff Award for Outstanding New Work for Stage Left’s 2006 production of In Times of War. Once again, we are utilizing our guerrilla marketing skills to help distribute posters for TDOK to locations all over the city.
The Day of Knowledge is at Stage Left Theatre through March 28th.

When we were contacted by The Wimette Theatre, we have to say that we were impressed. Not only has the theater been active in Wimette for almost 100 years, but they take the definition of “theater” to the max. The WT presents movies, live theater and musical performances (Leon Redbone plays there in March) , and it is the home to the Actors Training Center. For our first outing together, we will be distributing posters in Wilmette, Skokie, and the surrounding areas for Cupid Has A Heart On, a musical comedy by the Cupid Players. We hope that this will be the start of a long lasting relationship with Wimette Theatre, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
The Wilmette Theatre is located at 1122 Central Ave. in Wilmette.
The Cupid Players presents Cupid Has A Heart On Friday, February 13th.

If you live in Chicago, you can appreciate the premise of Rose and the Rime: The tiny Michigan town of Radio Falls has been trapped in perpetual winter for a generation. Snow and ice coat every tree branch and telephone wire, and the constant blizzard surrounding the town means there’s no way in or out. Sounds familiar, except in Chicago, we’re cursed by mother nature, not the Rime Witch. The House Theatre of Chicago is very proud to present ”an original Midwestern fairy tale.” This is our first job with HTOC, and we are very happy to welcome them as our new clients. To help spread the word on Rose and the Rime, we will be distributing flyers and posters to theaters, retail locations, and other venues throughout Chicago.
Rose and the Rime is at The House Theatre of Chicago February 19th-April 11th.
