Kicking off a new fall tour this September, Maxwell will come to Chicago with expat Common for a highly anticipated performance. We’ve begun a massive flyer distribution throughout the Chicagoland area in support, and will be doing various hand-to-hand distributions at shows all over the city. You might have seen us at HOB this past week for De La Soul.  Keep an eye out for us at T-Pain, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and Kid Koala in the next couple of weeks, and be sure to grab a flyer from us!

As it begins to cool down in Chicago, things are heating up at the Chicago History Museum.  The lecture/discussion Chicago 2016: The Thrill of Victory or the Agony of Defeat? will be taking place the 1st of September. Project Sunday presents And They Came to Chicago which covers the 150 year history of Italian settlement in the city. Lastly, be sure to take advantage of the Civil War Chicago bus tour.  Be sure to pay a visit to CHM for these, and other great events!

For it’s 34th season, the Steppenwolf Theatre brings several unique shows to its stages including American Buffalo by David Mamet, Endgame by Samuel Beckett, and A Parallelogram by Bruce Norris.  Beginning next week, we will be rolling out the 2009-2010 season brochures, which details each of these shows, and others.  Keep an eye out for the brochures throughout the city, and to full take advantage of the upcoming season, become a Steppenwolf subscriber today!

Chicago’s own Corky Siegal brings his Chamber Blues Band to the Wilmette Theatre’s stage this September. Mixing classical music with the blues, the Chamber Blues Band has created it’s own unique genre of music. “A genuine hybrid … complex … clever and ambitious” says Bill Kohlhaase of the LA Times. We are in the midst of a poster distribution for this upcoming performance, blanketing the north shore with CBB posters. Be sure to get your tickets for this highly anticipated show today!

Corky Siegal’s Chamber Blues Band plays the Wilmette Theatre on September 5th.

The Actors Training Center at the Wilmette Theatre offers top notch training for actors ranging in age from 3rd graders to adults, and is considered one of the best training centers in the Chicagoland area. We began a distribution campaign this week in support of the ATC’s programs. Keep an eye out for the postcards which we placed in locations all throughout the north shore area. If you present one to the ATC, you will receive $25 off any one class.

Fall is about to be ushered in as the month of August comes to an end, and what better way to start the season than signing up for classes at Lill Street!  Offering a variety of courses including printmaking, ceramics, and glass, Lill Street is a fantastic place to flex your creative muscles.  Next week begins our distribution of their latest brochures, which include course schedules.  Classes start in the next few weeks, so be sure to sign up today!

The director of  ”Clerks” , “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, and “Chasing Amy” comes to the Chicago Theatre! We’ve  already begun a major poster and flyer distribution campaign to get the word out on this rare live appearance. You probably saw us in action if you attended Wizard World a couple weeks ago, as we handed out flyers to all those in attendance. Keep an eye out for our materials at your local game and comic book stores too. We’ll be visiting locations throughout the city and suburbs.

As part of their back to school promotion, Adidas has brought their Mall Driver program to four U.S. cities. One of them of course, is Chicago.  Our street teams will be out each weekend in August at high traffic locations distributing stickers which contain locker combinations.  Recipients of these stickers can visit the Adidas Sports Performance store at Water Tower Place Mall, and attempt to open a series of lockers, one of which contains a $500 grand prize gift certificate. Be sure to keep an eye out for us every Saturday and Sunday for your chance to win!

The famous author, speaker and founding pastor of the Mars Hill Bible Church returns to Chicago in support of his new book/lecture. Rob Bell’s latest, Drops Like Stars, which discusses the relationship between suffering and creativity, will surely draw sold out crowds. To help promote his appearance, we executed a quick flyer and poster distribution throughout the city. Be sure to catch Rob Bell when he makes his stop in Chicago, one of only four locations on his Midwest tour.
