Neuro Drinks and Perez Hilton Presents!

neuroA few weeks ago, we were asked to be part of a touring sample promotion for the drink brand Neuro.  The tour coincides with the current Perez Hilton Presents! concert tour which is making its way across the country.  So far, we’ve been to Atlanta, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York distributing samples to patrons prior to the show. Tomorrow we’ll be at Chicago’s own Metro passing out samples of Neuro. Stop by, grab a drink, and say hello!

Million Dollar Quartet!!!!

MDQ_720x480_TVScreen_v2_002A few weeks ago, it was announced that the hit musical will be making its way to Broadway in the Spring.  But don’t worry, because it’s not leaving Chicago just yet. Back for another extension, we’re helping out the show that has grown into a sensation by launching a poster distribution campaign through out the city.  MDQ will be playing through the holiday’s, so be sure to see it before it moves out east!

Million Dollar Quartet is at the Apollo Theater through January 3rd.

Chicago Artist Month 2009

CAMWhat does one do with thousands of Chicago Artist Month journals that need to be delivered all over the city?  Give them to us of course!  We just wrapped up our distribution of 32,000 journals for the yearly publication. CAM is an annual celebration of Chicago’s vibrant visual arts community during the month of October. Over 200 events take place including exhibitions of emerging and established artists, openings, demonstrations, tours, open studios and neighborhood art walks at museums, galleries, parks, neighborhood art centers, artists’ studios and other locations throughout the city.   Keep an eye out for journals in your neighborhood, and pick one up to learn more about the exciting events taking place next month.

World Music Wednesdays @ Old Town School of Folk Music

Still running strong at Old Town School of Folk Music this fall is World Music Wednesdays.  Ushering in a plethora of musical events, OTSFM is one of the best places to see artists from around the world perform.  Every Wednesday up until December, OTFSM presents a different world music performance.  Upcoming shows include and Thomas Mapfumo & The Blacks Unlimited, Khmer Cultural Dance Troupe, and the Alberto Rojo Trio.  Keep an eye out for the brochures we’ll be distributing throughout the city, which details all of the upcoming performances.

World Music Wednesdays is at the Old Town School of Folk Music through December.

Rosencrantz and Guldenstern Are Dead @ Writer’s Theatre

RG_180x266Hamlet, Shakespeare’s greatest drama, is retold from the perspective of his schoolmates, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, in Tom Stoppard’s comedic masterpiece. We have begun a huge distribution of promotional materials which we are using to blanket the Northshore.  Keep an eye out for posters, brochures, and bookmarks.  R&G will be playing up until December, so you will have plenty of chances to see it.  Purchase your tickets today!

World Music Festival Chicago

world_music_festival.Par.34478.Image.0.0.1Last week, we began a massive flyer distribution for this year’s World Music Festival in Chicago. Featuring 57 artists from 32 different countries, playing 55 shows in 21 venues, in just 7 days!  You might have seen one of teams last weekend distributing flyers at the annual Jazz Festival or the African Arts Festival. This year the line up of artists includes West Coast DJ and electronic music artist Cheb I Sabbah, the latest buzz band out of South Africa BLK JKS, locals the Chicago Afrobeat Project, and from New York, Turntables on the Hudson.  Be sure to pick up a flyer, which details all of the artists playing, along with participating venues.

AMERFor their 25th season, the American Theatre Company opens with their new rock musical Yeast Nation (The Triumph of Life). The world’s first family, a colony of salt-eating yeasts, float in the brine of the primordial soup under the rule of a tyrannical baritone.  When resources deplete and fear pervades, the faith of a single-celled dreamer starts an evolutionary chain reaction that changes the course of existence forever. We will be executing a poster and flyer distribution campaign for this highly anticipated show.  Be sure to get your tickets to opening night right away!

Lucha VaVoom @ Congress Theater

Lakeview East Festival of the Arts

lvefa-logoA while back, we did a post on the  Lakeview East Festival of the Arts. Now, with it being just a few weeks away, we figured it would be good to remind everyone about this exciting event. With over 130 artists showcased, including Thomas Yano, Sharon Goddard, and Cathy A. “Cat” Clausen, LEFA offers a variety of activities for attendees to enjoy. We are in the process of doing a second round of flyer and poster distribution for LEFA. Admission is free, so be sure to mark your calenders!

The 5th Annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts takes place September 26th & 27th.
