October at the Chicago History Museum

Oct 02 2009

logoThe start of fall brings some interesting exhibitions and events to the Chicago History Museum.  October will see the start of  the new exhibit Abraham Lincoln Transformed, which explores the impact of Lincoln’s decision to ban slavery.  Benito Juarez and the Making of Modern Mexico takes an in-depth look at the Mexican president, and how he transformed Mexico into a modern republic. Also, be sure to check out the film Mexico’s White House, and Rubin Castillo’s lecture, Lincoln’s Leadership for a Multicultural World as well.
