For the past two weeks direction has been working with our good friends at Mirrorball to bring The Lost Art of Cinco to bars and venues throughout the Chicagoland area. We’ve been having a lot of fun leading these activations and coordinating the logistics for the Aztec Goddess of Cinco as she represents her tribe in celebration of Cinco de Mayo and Dos XX. The Aztec inspired promotion is travelling from bar to bar to ‘open the skies’ for the celebration of Cinco de Mayo with spiritual dancing and drumming.

Come Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and visit the Goddess and her maidens TONIGHT at Cactus, Tilted Kilt, Bull & Bear, and The Boundary. We’ll be making our stops starting at 5:30PM and will continue through the evening. Don’t forget to ask one of our maidens for your own complimentary Dos Equis!

If you’re a fan of the Mexican national soccer team, and you’re going to be in New York City, you will not want to miss this. Today, fans are invited to an autograph signing session with the members of Team Mexico at the adidas Sport Performance Store located at 610 Broadway in NYC.

We worked very quickly with our friends at the Action Marketing Group in order to pull staff together for the autograph session. This is a must see for any soccer fan so be sure to bring your favorite jersey to be autographed by Team Mexico!

The 2010 Chicago Improv Festival is hear!  It seems like just like yesterday when we were promoting the 12th Annual Improv Festival. This year it’s lucky number 13 however as 70 acts from around the world take over 12 stages in the city! This is already gearing up to be the best improv festival yet.

We are excited once again to work with CIF, and look forward to another stellar year of performances. Check out who’s coming to town and where they’ll be performing in addition to the special events that will be hosted all over town.

Last month, we worked on two incredible events with adidas to roll out their new MiCoach Running System. This week, we’ll be in Boston with Action Marketing Group launching another initiative coinciding with the Boston Marathon. We’ll have teams at the John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo demonstrating the MiCoach system as well as adidas apparel. Outside of the convention we’ll have roaming teams out and about giving away free swag and signing people up for special limited time offers. The weekend of fun will come to end on Monday at the Boston Marathon as we have staff there distributing shirts, yoga mats, and even applying temporary tattoos!

The John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo is at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston April 16th through the 18th. The Boston Marathon takes place on April 19th.

This week, we are working with our good friends at the Action Marketing Group as part of adidas’ new campaign for their miCoach products and website. We organized staff in Portland, OR and Jacksonville, FL who are demonstrating the miCoach gear and system.  They will also be stationed at annual races (Shamrock Run in Portland, Gate River Run in Jacksonville) in order to pass out promo materials, and get runners excited about miCoach.  If you’re in either city this weekend, be sure to stop by and see our teams in action!

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to manage an event at the  annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Miami in support of Cafe Bustelo. If you were lucky enough to be in Florida and attended the fest, you most likely saw our staff passing out postcards that were redeemable at Cafe Bustelo’s flagship store for a free espresso. The staff was able to soak up the sun while promoting one of the best brands of Cuban coffee.

The NBA Allstar Jam Session is in Dallas this coming weekend! We had the pleasure of supporting last year’s events in Phoenix, and this year’s event is sure to be just as fun and exciting!  Hosted by Adidas, the NBA Allstar Jam Session allows fans to play against actually NBA legends.  To help execute these events, we’ll be working in conjunction with our chums over at the Action Marketing Group. If you are in the Dallas area this weekend , be sure to check it out!

We’ve teamed up with 361 Experiential and will be working with them to execute 3 mall activations in Salt Lake City on December 12th and December 13th.

Qwest Communications will be hosting the Utah Jazz Dancers who will be wrapping your Christmas gifts for a small donation to the South Valley Boys and Girls Club. While in line, Qwest is offering to review your bill to see if they can apply any savings on your account. The holiday season is underway, and we are excited to be working with the Chicago Loop Alliance in promoting Winter Wonderloop.  With deals and special events at restaurants, stores, and hotels, Winter Wonderloop is the premiere guide for all your downtown holiday events.

If you were in the loop late late last week, you probably received a Winter Wonderloop brochure from one of our staff members. We had teams out in full force distributing thousands of brochures to commuters, shoppers and pedestrians.  Be sure to look for us this Thursday and Friday, and we will also be out on the infamous “Black Friday” distributing brochures to all of the Christmas shoppers.  Be sure to say hello, and grab a brochure!
