The intergalactic super group that is Angels and Airwaves comes back to Chicago for another appearance! Made up of Tom DeLonge, David Kennedy, Atom Willard, and Matt Wachter, Angels and Airwaves have been making headlines around the world thanks to their sold out shows and chart topping albums.

R&B prodigy, Grammy award winner, and Def Jam artist Chrisette Michele makes her way to Chicago as part of her latest tour in support of the new album, Epiphany.

Two weekends ago, our street team went to the Mariah Carey concerts at the Chicago Theater where we passed out handbills to all of the Mariah fans in attendance. We’ll also be in the street distributing these same handbills along with posters (which we printed) throughout the city of Chicago. This past weekend, we had the opportunity to manage an event at the  annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Miami in support of Cafe Bustelo. If you were lucky enough to be in Florida and attended the fest, you most likely saw our staff passing out postcards that were redeemable at Cafe Bustelo’s flagship store for a free espresso. The staff was able to soak up the sun while promoting one of the best brands of Cuban coffee.

Just a reminder to our friends around the country; direction tour marketing can manage and staff events in practically every major city. Be sure to think of us when you need seasoned brand ambassadors for your next event!

As most folks in Chicago know, Tuesday means free admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Now in addition to viewing the galleries for free, the MCA also offers a range of free events in Puck’s Cafe almost every Tuesday evening through the month of April. Events include Doodleganza: The Drawing Extravaganza, UBS 12 X 12: The After Party, Cabinet of Curiosities, and Magical Mystery Showcase.

The MCA has given us a variety of handbills advertising each of the mentioned events, complete with list of dates that we’ll be distributing all over the city. Keep an eye out for them and be sure to pick one up!

Prepare yourselves for the ultimate holiday show with Trans-Siberian Orchestra! Making it’s way to Chicago for two performances, TSO is sure to blow the minds of fans old and new as they rip through holiday classics, as well as cuts from their new double album Night Castle.

We are helping our friends at Live Nation promote the upcoming shows by executing several hand-to-hand flyer distributions this week.  Our street team will be visiting Christkindlmarket, the new ice rink at Wrigley Field, and many other holiday events throughout the city.  Keep an eye out for us, and be sure to grab a handbill!

We’ve teamed up with 361 Experiential and will be working with them to execute 3 mall activations in Salt Lake City on December 12th and December 13th.

Being Star Wars fans, you can bet we were pretty excited when the NCFPA asked us to lend a hand promoting the upcoming One Man Star Wars Trilogy performance. Based on the original trilogy series, Charles Ross acts out all three films with no costumes or props and for 75 minutes, takes the audience on an intense and hysterically funny ride.

We’ll be distributed 10,000 flyers this past Sunday at the United Center for the Star Wars Live concert series.  Our staff was dressed as characters from the films, distributing the handbills to all of those in attendance.

Returning for it’s fourth year here in Chicago, The Snow Queen is a wonderful holiday show for the entire family.  Based on the classic tale by Hans Christian Anderson, The Snow Queen is brought to life on stage with a wonderous musical score and amazing puppetry that will entertain audiences of all ages. In order to help Victory Gardens promote this highly anticipated production, we will be launching an aggressive retail distribution campaign, in addition to executing a hand-to-hand distribution downtown near Water Tower Place Mall.  Keep an eye out for our staff this Saturday, and don’t be afraid to grab a flyer and pose for a photo as well!

If you were at the annual Lights Festival or Thanksgiving Day Parade, there’s a good chance you saw folks wearing Million Dollar Quartet banner packs, and handing out flyers to people waiting patiently for the parade. That was us!  We handed out thousands of flyers (that we printed in house!) which contained $8 off coupons for tickets. MDQ has been running strong for over a year now, and is about to make the jump to New York for a run on Broadway.  We have been involved with the production from day one, and were happy to do a holiday push. If you haven’t checked it out, go and see the show that has become a musical sensation!
