		<description><![CDATA[FRS is launching their Healthy Energy products this week. FRS is lead by Lance Armstrong and is a healthy alternative to sugary and caffeinated energy products. To help celebrate the release of FRS, the drink is sponsoring a Lakefront Run this weekend. All donations received at the run benefit LiveStrong and Road Scholars. Registration for the race isn't necesary. Just show up, preferably in yellow, and donate $5 to support the charities.
Direction is happy to be working with BMF Media in promoting this new drink and run. Direction printworks handled the printing of the posters and fliers for this event. We've been distributing them on our gym, yoga, sports and healthy living specialty routes. In addition to our retail routes, we've also been promoting the run hand to hand at other races and on college campuses.
The FRS Energy Lakefront Run is on Saturday, April 2 at 2pm starting at the corner of North and Clark, the northeast corner of the Chicago History Museum. For more information on FRS Energy please visit frs.com.]]></description>

We've been having a lot of fun leading these activations and coordinating the logistics for the Aztec Goddess of Cinco as she represents her tribe in celebration of Cinco de Mayo and Dos XX. The Aztec inspired promotion is travelling from bar to bar to 'open the skies' for the celebration of Cinco de Mayo with spiritual dancing and drumming.

Come Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and visit the Goddess and her maidens TONIGHT at Cactus, Tilted Kilt, Bull &#38; Bear, and The Boundary. We'll be making our stops starting at 5:30PM and will continue through the evening. Don't forget to ask one of our maidens for your own complimentary Dos Equis!]]></description>

This week, we'll be in Boston with Action Marketing Group launching another initiative coinciding with the Boston Marathon. We'll have teams at the John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo demonstrating the MiCoach system as well as adidas apparel. Outside of the convention we'll have roaming teams out and about giving away free swag and signing people up for special limited time offers. The weekend of fun will come to end on Monday at the Boston Marathon as we have staff there distributing shirts, yoga mats, and even applying temporary tattoos!
The John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo is at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston April 16th through the 18th. The Boston Marathon takes place on April 19th. ]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[We work regularly with the Chicago History Museum on a variety of promotional distributions, but now we'll be helping them with a unique street promotion on election day. This Tuesday, we'll be working in conjunction with their North &#38; Clark Cafe to distribute coffee and muffin samples to voters who make it out to the polling stations early.  There are two places to vote (the Latin School &#38; the Chicago History Museum) and we'll have teams at both locations handing out free samples to all who brave the weather to cast their ballots. The cafe will also have special hours that day (they'll be open at 6am), so if you dig the samples, head over to grab yourself a proper coffee and breakfast.

		<description><![CDATA[This week is shaping up to be pretty busy for us, especially because we'll be assisting with an event almost 2000 miles away.  Starting on Friday, the Natural Product Expo West will descend upon the Anaheim Convention Center in California.  You wouldn't guess it, but we do dabble in the promotion and product sampling of Rachel's Cottage Cheese &#38; Yogurt.  Our staff will be there giving out samples, and informing the attendees about the benefits of Rachel's all natural dairy products.  If you're in the area, and are into natural health products, this is a yearly event you won't want to miss.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://directiontourmarketing.com/"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-348" title="100_1281" src="http://blog.directiontourmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/100_1281.jpg" alt="100_1281" width="331" height="295" /></a>When the good people at <a title="fox" href="http://www.fox.com/" target="_blank">Fox </a>asked us to hand out free samples of <a title="tide" href="http://www.tide.com/" target="_blank">Tide</a> in order to promote the new season of <a title="AI" href="http://www.americanidol.com/" target="_blank">American Idol</a>, we gave them an enthusiastic &#8220;Yes!&#8221;  We organized teams in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago to hit various college campuses; the perfect place to give away free detergent.  Here in Chicago, our team targeted the prestigious <a title="u of c" href="http://www.uchicago.edu/" target="_blank">University of Chicago</a> on the city&#8217;s south side in the beautiful Hyde Park neighborhood.  College students love free things, especially things that clean their clothes other than their mom.  The distribution was a huge success in each city, and thanks to us, many broke college kids will now be able to do laundry.  Even though Chicago is our home, <a title="direction" href="http://directiontourmarketing.com" target="_blank">direction</a> is capable of reaching most major cities and executing unique promotions.  So whether you want us to hand out laundry detergent samples, or just plain flyers, we can meet your needs.</p>
