Soon, the unstoppable Million Dollar Quartet will be debuting on Broadway. But, that doesn’t mean the curtain is closing in Chicago just yet. MDQ is back for another extension, this time through the month of March! We have played a significant role in the promotion of this production over the past year, doing everything from hand-2-hand distributions to banner back pack promos, to on-the-street video interviews.  This time around, we’ll be distributing coasters to bars, pubs, theaters, and other venues in the city. If  you happen to spot one, be sure to hold on to it in order to get an $8 discount on select tickets!

The MaTEENée Series is a special opportunity for high school students to score a $15 ticket to a Steppenwolf production, meet Chicago’s most celebrated artists and connect with other teens who are passionate about theatre. Each MaTEENée ticket also includes dinner after the show.  MaTEENée shows this season include American Buffalo, A Separate Piece, The Brother/Sister Plays, and Endgame.

In order to help spread the news about this very special and very limited offer, we are helping Steppenwolf distribute posters near high schools in Chicago. If you have a teen son or daughter, be sure to tell them to take advantage!

2009 is almost gone, and soon, a new year and new decade will be ushered in. What better way is there to start off than visiting the Chicago History Museum!  For the first month of 2010, CHM will be hosting some very exciting and unique events including Compañeras a film profiling America’s first all-female mariachi band, Vino in the Village which features food, wine, and history, and lastly, a very special celebration of Martin Luther King Jr Day on January 18th.

We are working on prnting and distributing materials for all of CHM’s upcoming events. Keep an eye out for all of the handbills at your local businesses, and take advantage of all the great events next month!

Broadway in Chicago brings it’s latest musical to the Cadillac Palace Theatre stage! In The Heights, the 2008 Tony Award winning best musical, includes an amazing cast, incredible dancing and a gripping tale of hope and self-discovery. Last time we spoke of Lillstreet, we mentioned that they were beginning their annual holiday show lasting all throughout the holiday season.  Now, we’ll be issuing that reminder throughout the city as we distribute Lillstreet’s holiday postcards (pictured left).  If you frequent the northwest side of the city, you have probably seen these guys laid out.  Be sure to take advantage of the special sales and discounts while simultaneously supporting local artists and their crafty endeavours.
