About Face Theatre Presents: What Once We Felt

Jan 27 2010

WOWF_POSTCARD_FRONTcropWhat Once We Felt is set in a dystopian future where people download babies, and the printed word is pretty much extinct. But that changes when an author takes on the job of writing what will be the last printed novel, ever. What Once We Felt is a dark sci-fi story which covers not only the death of print, but also the widening gap between classes in society.

It has been a while since we last worked with About Face, and we are glad to list them once again as our client. We’ve been allotted thousands of flyers and posters to be distributed throughout the city for this exciting new production. Be on the lookout for the materials in your neighborhood, and be sure to check out About Face Theatre’s website for ticket information.

About Face Theatre’s What Once We Felt is at Center on Halsted February 3rd through March 6th. Please visit www.aboutfacetheatre.com for more information.

Stupid Kids @ Center on Halsted

Feb 04 2009

stupidkidsJohn C. Russell’s story of love gets retold by the About Face Theatre, which sets the play against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis in 1980s America. The production will feature adult actors as well as members of the About Face Youth Theatre Program and will include a rhythmic mix of music, video, slam poetry and dance. Creating GLBT themed productions in order to advance the national dialogue on gender and sexuality is the goal of the About Face Theatre.  Their plays challenge audiences as well as entertain, and everyone who attends Stupid Kids is sure to learn something.

About Face Theatre’s production of Stupid Kids is at Center on Halsted February 4th-March 8th.
