The good folks at Allied Live are making the sure the music doesn’t die. One night at Sun Studios, four giants got together to play some songs. Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins sat around a piano, belting out tunes to no one in particular. No records came out of that session. Based on that night, “Million Dollar Quartet” has graced the stage over 1,000 nights and there’s no sign of slowing down. If you’re wondering what to get the music lover on your Christmas list, a trip to Lincoln Park to see the music come to life isn’t a bad idea.

The direction team has been hanging posters for the Million Dollar Quartet throughout the north side of Chicago.

The highly successful rock and roll musical “Million Dollar Quartet” will hopefully make your Black Friday experience a little better. Mister Cash, Lewis, Perkins and Presley will be performing a mini-concert on Friday at 10am at the Gurnee Mills mall. Take a minute from the shopping extraveganza and listen to a few tunes.

What’s to be said about MDQ that we haven’t said before? The runaway hit musical which is now on Broadway has a new cast and an extended run right here in Chicago! Come see the story of how Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley played at Sun Records’ storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time.

We previously mentioned that we will be distributing coasters to bars and venues in and around the Apollo Theater in support of the latest show extension of MDQ. In addition to that, we are also targeting Chicago campuses including Columbia College, Loyola, and DePaul for a massive poster distribution. Our teams will be out hanging up posters which feature removable tabs that you will want to get your hands on since they allow students to purchase $20 tickets to the show. Soon, the unstoppable Million Dollar Quartet will be debuting on Broadway. But, that doesn’t mean the curtain is closing in Chicago just yet. MDQ is back for another extension, this time through the month of March! We have played a significant role in the promotion of this production over the past year, doing everything from hand-2-hand distributions to banner back pack promos, to on-the-street video interviews. This time around, we’ll be distributing coasters to bars, pubs, theaters, and other venues in the city. If you were at the annual Lights Festival or Thanksgiving Day Parade, there’s a good chance you saw folks wearing Million Dollar Quartet banner packs, and handing out flyers to people waiting patiently for the parade. That was us! We handed out thousands of flyers (that we printed in house!) which contained $8 off coupons for tickets. MDQ has been running strong for over a year now, and is about to make the jump to New York for a run on Broadway. We have been involved with the production from day one, and were happy to do a holiday push. If you haven’t checked it out, go and see the show that has become a musical sensation!

A few weeks ago, it was announced that the hit musical will be making its way to Broadway in the Spring. But don’t worry, because it’s not leaving Chicago just yet. Back for another extension, we’re helping out the show that has grown into a sensation by launching a poster distribution campaign through out the city. Playing through the month of August thanks to multiple extensions, Million Dollar Quartet is still experiencing sold out shows and rave reviews. We’ve been organizing teams to travel all over the city to promote at various events and festivals including Ribfest, Volleywood, and starting this week the annual Movies in the Park. There’s a good chance you have seen or talked to our teams as they are conducting on the street interviews collecting testimonials, and testing people’s knowledge of MDQ.
