This American story of blue collar immigrants making a new home in Manhattan has been winning over audiences and critics. Starring Nora Dunn (“Saturday Night Live”), Felicia Fields, Roni Geva, Katie O’Brien and Barbara Robertson, the experience is ideal for anyone that’s ever had a delightful memory triggered by a pair of shoes.

The good folks at Broadway in Chicago are bringing Tevye and the rest of the cast of “Fiddler on the Roof” to town for an extremely limited run later this month. What could be considered a right of passage for any musical lover, “Fiddler” is the classic that features “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “If I Were A Rich Man” and “Sunrise, Sunset.” If you’re a parent with a teenager that’s interested in musical theater, this is an excellent way to spend a day of the Thanksgiving week.
