2010 Creative Chicago Expo

EXPO_2010_postcardCAR_0The 2010 Creative Chicago Expo at the Chicago Cultural Center is a highly successful event that connects artists and art organizations in all disciplines. The Creative Chicago Expo is free and open to the public. Last year, over 5,000 people connected with vendors, workshops, and consultants, taking advantage of Chicago’s top resources, services and expertise for individuals and organizations in all the arts.

Not only will direction tour marketing be promoting the 2010 expo, but we will have a booth as well! We’ll be checking out tons of booths of clients and friends. Be sure to come by our table and say hello !

At Work Forum @ the Chicago Cultural Center

At_Work480x350_B1Throughout 2010, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs will present At Work Forums on various issues related to Studio Chicago. This month, the Forum will host a panel discussing successful artwalks and the development of neighborhood business.

Artists at Work offers a variety of resources and helpful tools to artists of all mediums, and we are excited to be working with them on this project. Utilizing our printworks division, we will be printing bookmarks that will then be distributed all over town. Be sure to pick one up, and check out what Artists at Work can offer you!

Ars Scientia @ Chicago Cultural Center

arsWhat happens when you combine art and science? Ars Scientia of course! For the next few months, the Cultural Center will be hosting this new series made up of Conversations and Salons which explore collaborations between artists and scientists.  Topics include Exploring Environmentalism, Structuring Change, and The Magic of Perception.

 

Ars Scientia takes place every other Monday 6:00pm-7:30pm through March 23rd.
