The Chicago Human Rhythm Project’s 22nd season opens with Global Rhythms 7, two concerts over the Thanksgiving weekend at the beautiful Harris Theater. Each night will have dance and percussion groups from around the country. Both nights include Step Afrika from Washington, D.C. The first night includes Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater and the second night includes The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago, Sones de Mexico and Chicago Mayfair Academy of Fine Arts.
The direction staff has been and will be distributing handbills hand to hand at events like the Hubbard Street Dance’s Fall Performance, Bad Boys of Dance at the Auditorium Theater, the Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Mag Mile Festival of Lights and more.
Global Rhythms 7 will be at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park on November 26 and 27. Tickets are available for each nights performance. For more information about each of the groups, previous Global Rhythms performances, videos and tickets, please visit chicagotap.org.

The first concert series in the United States spotlighting American tap and contemporary percussion arts companies, Global Rhythms comes to the Harris Theater at the end of the month. The Chicago Human Rhythm Project ends their 2010 year with a performance that shares 50% of its proceeds with more than 50 Chicago area non-profits. Thanks to the Thanks4Giving program a night out on the town will do more good than ever before.
