A Life @ Northlight Theatre

A-Life-Image-Only-4x6John Mahoney, one of the greatest actors to come out of Chicago returns to the Northlight Theatre as the lead in the new production A Life. As Desmond Drumm nears retirement, his memories come to life, reminding him of the triumphs and tragedies of his youth and prompting him to mend relationships with a childhood friend and the love interest that had charmed them both.

We’re glad to be working with Northlight once again on what is sure to be one of the most popular productions of the season. We’ll be launching a full on street marketing campaign across the northshore are, blanketing neighborhoods with brochures and posters. Pride and Prejudice @ Athenaeum Theatre

pride-prejudice-pageThe classic tale by Jane Austen courtesy of Chamber Opera Chicago makes its way to the stage of the Athenaeum Theatre for it’s Chicago debut! We previously worked with Chamber Opera Chicago on their annual holiday classic Amuhl and the Night Visitors, and we are very excited that they invited us to work with them again on their latest production.

We’ve begun a distribution to bring our allotted materials to various points in Chicago. Pride and Prejudice is only in town for three performances, so be sure to get tickets before it’s too late!

11:11 @ Victory Gardens Biograph Theater

11-11-largeOn the eve of the first day of camp, a group of young, Christian camp counselors give in to the temptations of summer’s last night of freedom, and in the process, unknowingly drug themselves.  As the evening unravels, secrets are shared about life, love, sexuality and, ultimately, the doubts of young Christian leaders.  This exciting new production is brought to you by the folks at The New Colony , who strive to contribute original material to the American artistic canon, and develop a new theater going audience.

We’ve started an aggressive street marketing campaign in support of 11:11, distributing posters (which we printed in house) in various neighborhoods including Evanston. Be on the lookout for our street team hanging up posters near you!

A Separate Peace @ Steppenwolf Theatre

peace_150x200Set at an all-boys boarding school in New England during World War II, A Separate Peace is a fascinating look into the dark side of adolescence. The complex bonds of friendship between shy, studious Gene and his athletic daredevil roommate Phineas are tested—with shocking consequences.

A Love Lost Life @ The Theatre Building

allposter4web_164x0A Love Lost Life explores the bonds and barriers between fathers and sons manifesting in Brando’s own efforts to understand fatherhood. The 90-minute biopic reveals his feelings towards his father and his confusion about being a father to his own children. Brando’s final years inspired the title and focus.

Featuring four separate actors portraying Brando at different ages,  A Love Lost Life paints a unique portrait of one of Hollywood’s most infamous stars. Wilson Wants It All @ The House Theatre

show-iconWilson Wants It All is set in the not-too-distant future where America is once again on the brink of civil war. One man decides the future of a nation as he manipulates the fate of twin girls, separated at birth and caught on either side of this escalating conflict.

Mrs. Caliban @ Lifeline Theater

mrsc_01The latest production on the Lifeline Theatre’s stage is one you won’t want to miss. Dorothy is locked in a lifeless marriage of empty domestic ritual until a fugitive from another world arrives on her doorstep. With him, she finds forbidden love and experiences a rebirth of her spirit, as she learns to question her assumptions about the world.

We just wrapped up working with Lifeline on their family oriented show The Last of the Dragons. Now, we’ll be distributing handbills and posters in support of Mrs. Caliban throughout the northside area including Edgewater, Uptown, and Rogers Park. Be sure to get your tickets before it’s too late!

January Distribution for The DCA Theatre

Each season,they accepts proposals from Chicago’s emerging and developing theater companies who wish to bring their innovative productions downtown to the Storefront Theater. Currently, the theatre is in the middle of The (edward) Hopper Project presented by the WNEP Theater. Upcoming performances include Wiggerlover [White Boy + Black Dad = Grey Areas], Beautiful City, and coming this spring, Cabaret.

We are working in conjunction with The DCA Theatre, distributing their season brochures all over the Chicagoland area.  Be sure to pick one up in order to find out more about what The DCA Theatre has to offer.

About Face Theatre Presents: What Once We Felt

But that changes when an author takes on the job of writing what will be the last printed novel, ever. What Once We Felt is a dark sci-fi story which covers not only the death of print, but also the widening gap between classes in society.

It has been a while since we last worked with About Face, and we are glad to list them once again as our client. We’ve been allotted thousands of flyers and posters to be distributed throughout the city for this exciting new production. Return to Haifa @ Next Theatre

haifaA2001948 marked the birth of the Jewish state and the exodus of 500,000 Palestinians from Israel. Return to Haifa tells the story of two of those Palestinians forced to flee, and leave behind their newborn son, who ends up being adopted and raised by a Jewish couple. The birth parents return two decades later to try and reclaim what they once lost.

Next Theatre prides itself on putting together amazing stage shows, and Return to Haifa is a must see production. Direction will be hitting the streets in order to execute several material distributions.  We’ll specifically be targeting the city and northshore suburbs , so be on the look out for us as we deliver posters and flyers to locations in your area.
