Pestered by his parents, Hamm directs this unusual family through their daily rituals, awaiting the end of everything. Swerving from the magnificent to the minuscule and from the profound to the profoundly ridiculous, a powerful all-ensemble cast brings to life this epic tale.

The Brother/Sister Plays: Campus Coverage

The Steppenwolf productions has been receiving rave reviews since it began, and now, we are looking to help increase the fan base even more. We are working closely with Steppenwolf to distribute materials throughout college campuses in Chicago. Our handbills offer $15 tickets for all students for the Brother/Sister performances. With such a great deal, there is no reason you should not go see the this show.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses @ Remy Bumppo Theatre

Liaisons2Christopher Hampton’s award-winning, English-language adaptation of Choderlos de Laclos’ infamous 1782 novel of sexual intrigue and ruthless manipulation! Set in the salons and boudoirs of pre-Revolutionary France, two high-powered and well-heeled friends, the Vicomte de Valmont and the Marquise de Merteuil, devise a game to test their skills as rapacious lovers. NOTE, This production contains some nudity.

Working with Remy Bumppo is always fun as they bring a plethora of exciting  theater to life on the stage. We will be launching a distribution campaign bringing posters to all corners of the city. Les Liaisons just started last week, so be sure to check it out this spring!

Set during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, this scathing indictment of censorship remains a timeless classic of American drama and a master study on the inherent frailty, delicate beauty and limitless possibility of the human spirit.

We’re excited to work with Infamous Commonwealth as they perform in their new space at the Raven Theatre. We’re distributing posters and other materials throughout the city with a heavy concentration on northside neighborhoods. If you’re a Miller fan, this is one production you won’t want to miss!

The Lost Boys of Sudan @ Victory Gardens Biograph Theater

Lost boys main copy.previewThree boys meet while fleeing the horrors of war. They soon find themselves in Fargo, North Dakota where encountering drought, crocodiles and guerrillas are replaced with malls, video games, and Skittles.

We are working closely with Victory Gardens on this project, as we distribute handbills all over the Chicagoland area. Be sure to bring your used books to the performances, as Victory Gardens has partnered with The PACODES Library Project to collect books that will help build a library in Southern Sudan.

The Lost Boys of Sudan is at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater March 19th through April 25th.

44635aThe Broadway hit is finally here! Billy Elliot the Musical makes it’s way to Chicago this spring for an extended stay. Billy Elliot is the heartwarming celebration of one young boy’s triumph against the odds. Set in a small mining town, the story follows Billy’s journey as he stumbles out of a boxing ring and into a ballet class and discovers his dream to dance.

You might remember not too long ago we did a promotion for the Billy Elliot onsale.  We had staff members with banner packs targeting commuters and holiday shoppers with handbills. Now, we will be staring retail distribution of promo materials throughout the city. If you haven’t done so yet, get your tickets right away for what is sure to be the hit musical of the year!

image_illusion_showCourt Theatre is proud to present there latest production written by acclaimed playwright Tony Kushner. The Illusion tells the story of a father’s attempt to find his estranged son in a world of theatrical magic, outrageous humor, and true, complicated love.

In addition to launching a distribution campaign, we also had our street teams out distributing handbills to performances in Chicago if you were at the Harris Theater last Monday, or the Lyric Opera this past Saturday, you probably saw our team in action, and grabbed a  handbill yourself.

A True History of the Jonestown Flood @ Goodman Theatre

JF_165x237 A True History of the Johnstown Flood introduces us to The Baxter Theatre Troupe who have been summoned to perform at an exclusive resort next to a beautiful man-made lake in the Pennsylvania mountains. When a violent rainstorm compromises the lake’s shoddily constructed dam, the resulting disaster lays bare the tragic inequities of the rigid class system-and paves the way for a seismic change in both theater and society.

We’ll be distributing posters in support of the Goodman’s latest production all over the city. Be sure to get your tickets for this world premiere written by Rebecca Giman, and directed by Robert Falls.
