Come to the MCA for free live jazz concerts every Tuesday during the summer, at Tuesdays on the Terrace, presented by Macy’s. A different gourmet buffet prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering is served each week, with dishes created using fresh locally-grown produce from the MCA Farmer’s Market. For a more casual evening, bring your own blanket  for a relaxing evening on the garden lawn. In case of rain, the event takes place in Puck’s Cafe.

We have been executing hand-to-hand distributions for the past month, including hits at the Green City Market, Taste of Randolph, and Jammin’ at the Zoo. Be sure to grab a handbill which lists the complete schedule of artists performing each night

Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago’s signature Fall program features three spectacular world premieres: Urban! Funk! Street! Philadelphia’s award-winning superstar choreographer Rennie Harris creates his first piece for a Chicago company. You probably saw us out at various dance events last week passing out flyers for these highly anticipated shows.  Be sure to check it out!

Summertime always ushers in a plethora of free outdoor musical performances in the city.  Be sure to take advantage of Tuesdays on the Terrace, where each week audiences are treated to live jazz while they relax and picnic at the MCA’s terraced garden.  Upcoming acts include Robert Irving III, Kevin Nabors, and the Green Mill Quartet.  Keep an eye out for the flyers we are distributing throughout the city which details each week’s musical act.

Tuesdays on the Terrace occurs every Tuesday from 5:30pm-8pm through September at the MCA.

Chris Bernhardt, Jay Moynihan, Mike Rodbard, and Neal Alger have been staples in Chicago’s jazz scene for quite a while now.  Together, they make up BMR4, and this month we are excited to be promoting them for their upcoming performances at the Morse Theater located in the beautiful Rogers Park neighborhood.  Every Wednesday is Jazz Night, featuring a new headliner performing with BRM4, and others.
