At Work Forum @ the Chicago Cultural Center

Jan 12 2010

At_Work480x350_B1Throughout 2010, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs will present At Work Forums on various issues related to Studio Chicago. This month, the Forum will host a panel discussing successful artwalks and the development of neighborhood business.

Artists at Work offers a variety of resources and helpful tools to artists of all mediums, and we are excited to be working with them on this project. Utilizing our printworks division, we will be printing bookmarks that will then be distributed all over town. Be sure to pick one up, and check out what Artists at Work can offer you!

Artists at Work:  Anatomy of a Successful Art Walk / Opening Tools is at the Chicago Cultural Center January 21st.  Please visit www.studiochicago.org for more information.

Kevin Smith, “Silent Bob Speaks” @ Chicago Theatre

Aug 19 2009

kevin-smith-328The director of  ”Clerks” , “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, and “Chasing Amy” comes to the Chicago Theatre! We’ve  already begun a major poster and flyer distribution campaign to get the word out on this rare live appearance. You probably saw us in action if you attended Wizard World a couple weeks ago, as we handed out flyers to all those in attendance. Keep an eye out for our materials at your local game and comic book stores too. We’ll be visiting locations throughout the city and suburbs.

Kevin Smith is at the Chicago Theatre September 18th.

The famous author, speaker and founding pastor of the Mars Hill Bible Church returns to Chicago in support of his new book/lecture. Rob Bell’s latest, Drops Like Stars, which discusses the relationship between suffering and creativity, will surely draw sold out crowds. To help promote his appearance, we executed a quick flyer and poster distribution throughout the city. Be sure to catch Rob Bell when he makes his stop in Chicago, one of only four locations on his Midwest tour.

Rob Bell’s Drop Like Stars is at the Congress Theatre August 19th.
