We can’t say enough great things about Lillstreet. They offer adult classes and workshops for all skill levels in ceramics, metal works, jewelery, painting & drawing, printmaking, textiles, and glass. As the holiday’s come to an end, Lillstreet gears up for a new year, and the start of a new semester.  Offering an array of classes including metal work, sculpting and printmaking.  For the professional artist and the rookie, Lillstreet offers  a whole gamut of classes for all skill levels.

Last time we spoke of Lillstreet, we mentioned that they were beginning their annual holiday show lasting all throughout the holiday season.  Now, we’ll be issuing that reminder throughout the city as we distribute Lillstreet’s holiday postcards (pictured left).  If you frequent the northwest side of the city, you have probably seen these guys laid out.  Be sure to take advantage of the special sales and discounts while simultaneously supporting local artists and their crafty endeavours.

With the arrival of spring (finally), Lillstreet is gearing up for their summer classes and sessions.  Offering courses in printmaking, painting, drawing and glass, Lillstreet is the place to go to learn one of these unique trades whether you’re a novice, or a seasoned crafts person.  There’s also Kidstreet, which offers classes for children.  Summer courses begin soon, so sign up now!

Lillstreet is all about dropping knowledge on new and experienced artists.  The spring semester is right around the corner, and there are a wide variety of classes being offered at Lillstreet.  Whether you’re an adult that wants to be a 1st time jeweler, or want to get your child on the multimedia art kick, they offer it all.  If you can’t get your child signed up for the spring classes, Lillstreet also has their summer camp 2009 program coming up.  Camps include Wheelthrowing, and Egyptian Camp.
