Steel Pulse & Ozomatli @ House of Blues Chicago

ozomatli_logoBoth on separate tours, Ozomatli and Steel Pulse will be making their way to the House of Blues in Chicago in May. Currently promoting their new album Fire Away (which comes out on April 20th), Ozomatli are tearing up the road and venue circuit with their unique blend of Latin, Jazz, Hip Hop, and funk.  Steel Pulse, who are touring with Toots and the Mytals, are rocking venues across the country with their stone cold reggae grooves.

We’re working with our buddies at  House of Blues, promoting both of these exciting acts. We’ll be turning up at concerts in Chicago distributing double sided handbills which advertise both shows. Be sure to grab one, and say hi!

Windy City Rollers @ UIC Pavilion

wcrThis Saturday, the Windy City Rollers are ready to bring the ruckus in the third match of the new season! Join the mayhem as the Manic Attackers take on the Hell’s Belles, and the Double Crossers go head to head with The Fury.

Slightly Stoopid @ the Congress Theater

120309The West-coast band makes it’s way to the Congress Theater at the end of the month! Slightly Stoopid are on a new tour, and you won’t want to miss it!

We are working with our friends at Live Nation in order to promote this show to the utmost. We were at both moe. shows this past weekend, in addition to Citizen Cope and New Found Glory. We will also have staff at the upcoming St Patrick’s Day Flogging Molly performance at the Aragon, and the Aquabats and Mustard Plug at Metro. Be sure to find out more today!

Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate!

44083aThe newest Disney On Ice spectacular promises to turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one. Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate! featuring a magical montage of first-time and perennially popular Disney characters celebrating holidays and festivals from around the world.

We helped out our friends at Feld Entertainment by printing handbills and posters to be distributed throughout the suburbs advertising the upcoming performances. Also, if you and your family attended Curious George this past weekend at the Sears Centre, you probably saw our street team in action passing out Disney On Ice handbills. Toddlin’ Thursdays will thrill audiences with “live” interactive performances, and exciting entertainment on the Family Pavilion Stage. With activities that include real-life characters and storytelling, Navy Pier is the place to be.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been involved with Toddlin’ Thursdays, and we can’t wait to start working with the folks at Navy Pier once again.  Utilizing our Kids Route, we’ll be distributing 3000 handbills advertising the upcoming family events to locations throughout Chicago.

Yo Gabba Gabba @ Rosemont Theatre

tv_new_yo_gabba_gabbaRosemont Theatre has ben keeping us VERY busy this week as we visit children’s and family friendly locations throughout the North Shore suburbs, NW suburbs, and the city to support the upcoming Yo Gabba Gabba performance at Rosemont Theatre. The series premiered in 2007 and has since become a TV sensation. My son loves it and I have to say, I’ve begun to enjoy it as well. They have a great series of guests and their sets and concepts are allot of fun. I’m not sure what the Live show has in store but you can bet that my son will be there with Dad in tow.

Yo Gabba Gabba Live will be at the Rosemont Theatre for two shows on Saturday, December 5th. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

Hopera: A Fallen Hero @ DuSable Museum

hopera.chicago.300 We’re very excited to be working with Hopera World on their upcoming production at the DuSable Museum of African American History. We’re currently distributing posters and handbills on a number of campuses in the Chicago area to help build awareness and hype for the premier.

A Fallen Hero is a full length Hip Hop Opera production with original music by Adrian Dunn. This moving story set in Chicago follows the life of young Obadiah King and his quest to find himself. This dynamic cast of ten operatic and popular vocalists, dancers, and rappers present Obadiah’s ability to triumph over loss, rejection, and even death.
