Black Creativity Series @ Museum of Science and Industry

Oct 27 2011

For over forty years the Museum of Science and Industry has been encouraging and celebrating achievement in science from the African American community. The Black Creativity program, a gala event, a juried art show, and a series of lectures, demonstrations and learning labs, highlights the accomplishments of that community in science. By encouraging the next generation, the MSI is ensuring a bright future for the museum and the community.

We created a specialty lecture series distribution route with emphasis on the south side and schools that cater primarily to African Americans including Chicago State University, Kennedy King College, Malcolm X College and more.

The Black Creativity Series is currently running at the Museum of Science and Industry with special Black Creativity Family Days coming soon. For information about the museum and upcoming events, please visit msichicago.org

BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life @ Museum of Science and Industry

Jul 31 2011

When BODY WORLDS came to Chicago a few years ago it was a big success. The Museum of Science and Industry stayed open late to meet crowd demand. BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life is back with an entirely new exhibit. Museum guests of all ages are welcome. The new exhibit features three new perspectives: conception and pre-natal development, sight and vision and a study of the geographic locations of where the oldest people tend to live. If you haven’t seen what the insides of everyone look like, here’s your chance.

Direction has been working on a massive distribution covering nearly all of our retail routes in the city and suburbs.

BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life will be at the Museum of Science and Industry until September 5 with extended hours beginning August 5. Please visit msichicago.org for information about BODY WORLDS and all the other exhibits currently at the museum.

whitehouse_oval_608Ever wanted to see what a tiny version of the White House would look like on the inside?  This month, the Museum of Science and Industry presents White House: A Look Inside.  The 60-by-13 foot, 1:12 scale replica is also accompanied by a photographic timeline, which chronicles it’s original construction, all the way up to present times.

To help promote this exhibit, we printed posters that will be distributed around the city, White House: A Look Inside is temporary, and your last chance to see it will be Presidents Day, February 15 2010, so make sure you check it out before it’s gone!
