Broadway’s own Mike Burstyn makes his Centre East debut! The musical theater star sings show-stopping favorites accompanied by a three-piece band. Joining him is ‘Catskills on Broadway’ comedian Mal Z. Lawrence, for a superb night of entertainment!

Last time we worked with the North Shore Center, was back in December for the One Man Star Wars Trilogy.  This time around, we’re promoting pretty much the exact polar opposite. This once night only performance is sure to pack the house, so be sure you make your reservations today!

Both on separate tours, Ozomatli and Steel Pulse will be making their way to the House of Blues in Chicago in May. Currently promoting their new album Fire Away (which comes out on April 20th), Ozomatli are tearing up the road and venue circuit with their unique blend of Latin, Jazz, Hip Hop, and funk.  Steel Pulse, who are touring with Toots and the Mytals, are rocking venues across the country with their stone cold reggae grooves.

We’re working with our buddies at  House of Blues, promoting both of these exciting acts. We’ll be turning up at concerts in Chicago distributing double sided handbills which advertise both shows. Be sure to grab one, and say hi!

As the year goes on, and we get closer to summer, expect to see more and more fantastic shows roll through the Old Town School of Folk Music. Spring performances by King Sunny Ade, Rahim Alhaj, and Les Primitifs du Futur will lead us right into summer.

The Harris Theater is proud to present world renowned pianist, Lang Lang. For his first appearance,  Lang Lang will perform an impressive two concerto program under his mentor, conductor Christoph Eschenbach. The performance will be accompanied by the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra.

We are looking forward to working with the Harris Theater again in promoting this exciting new show. We have been distributing flyers and posters around the city. The 2010 Creative Chicago Expo at the Chicago Cultural Center is a highly successful event that connects artists and art organizations in all disciplines. The Creative Chicago Expo is free and open to the public. Last year, over 5,000 people connected with vendors, workshops, and consultants, taking advantage of Chicago’s top resources, services and expertise for individuals and organizations in all the arts.

Not only will direction tour marketing be promoting the 2010 expo, but we will have a booth as well! We’ll be checking out tons of booths of clients and friends. Be sure to come by our table and say hello !

Australia’s prog rockers make there way stateside for a nationwide tour! Winner’s of several Australian awards including Most Popular Act and Most Popular Live Act, Karnivool will be tooling around the country hitting up several major cities and events including SXSW.

If you were out  at the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, you probably saw our crack team of guerrilla marketers passing out handbills. This is part of project that we have been working on together with our good friends at Live Nation. Passing out flyers for upcoming shows including Slightly Stoopid and Gaelic Storm, our team joined the masses that came out in spite of the weather to the annual parade.

Slide is both a poignant tale of human frailty and a work about the seduction and manipulation of the American psyche. This multi-media, multi-art form production features renowned collaborators Rinde Eckert and Steve Mackey alongside Eighth Blackbird in a Chicago premiere.

Eighth Blackbird always seems to be a part of some very exciting and unique productions at Harris Theater. The West-coast band makes it’s way to the Congress Theater at the end of the month! Slightly Stoopid are on a new tour, and you won’t want to miss it!

We are working with our friends at Live Nation in order to promote this show to the utmost. We were at both moe. shows this past weekend, in addition to Citizen Cope and New Found Glory. Celtic Woman makes its way to the Rosemont Theatre next month for two live performances of Songs From the Heart. Join musical director David Downes and the cast as they perform selections from the acclaimed CD/DVD.

Last year, Celtic Woman performed two shows at the Chicago Theater. Those in attendance were treated to amazing performances, and are surely looking forward to the latest tour.
