We previously mentioned that we will be distributing coasters to bars and venues in and around the Apollo Theater in support of the latest show extension of MDQ. In addition to that, we are also targeting Chicago campuses including Columbia College, Loyola, and DePaul for a massive poster distribution. A few weeks ago, it was announced that the hit musical will be making its way to Broadway in the Spring.  But don’t worry, because it’s not leaving Chicago just yet. Back for another extension, we’re helping out the show that has grown into a sensation by launching a poster distribution campaign through out the city.  MDQ will be playing through the holiday’s, so be sure to see it before it moves out east!

The Off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes comes to the Northlight Theatre. In 1958, when the hired entertainment doesn’t show to perform at the high school prom, The Wonderettes save the day by taking the stage.  As part of its exciting 35th anniversary season, the Northlight Theatre has brought us on board to promote this upcoming production.  We’ll be visiting locations all over the north Chicagoland area, distributing flyers and posters.  Be part of the fun, and see The Marvelous Wonderettes while it’s here!

The Goodman is known for their elaborate and diverse shows.  Now, Rock ‘n’ Roll comes to the stage.  Spanning 3 generations, it tells a love story synced to a  classic soundtrack that includes The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, U2, John Lennon, and The Doors just to name a few.  We’re very excited to working with the Goodman once again, and are in midst of an aggressive marketing campaign to get the word out. Rock ‘n’ Roll is directed by Charles Newell.

Just to the west of Chicago, the Pheasant Run Resort has been established as an all inclusive get away destination for people around the area, and from out of town.  Their Mainstage Theatre offers regular seasons of shows, and their latest is the Broadway hit Altar Boyz.  We’re picking up materials from Pheasant Run today, and we will be distributing them in Bartlet and Geneva as a start.  Altar Boyz is directed by John Gawlick.

Altar Boyz is at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles April 29th through July 12th.

John Cameron Mitchell’s off beat rock musical comes to Chicago for a run at the American Theater Company.  “This is a Hedwig like none before” says ATC Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. We hit several shows over the weekend (including Morrissey @ the Aragon, and Lez Zepplin @ Double Door) in order to distribute flyers for this upcoming production.  It kicks off this Thursday, so if you’re a fan of the original stage version and/or movie, be sure to check it out.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is at the American Theater Company April 9th-May 17th.
