1948 marked the birth of the Jewish state and the exodus of 500,000 Palestinians from Israel. Return to Haifa tells the story of two of those Palestinians forced to flee, and leave behind their newborn son, who ends up being adopted and raised by a Jewish couple. The birth parents return two decades later to try and reclaim what they once lost.
Next Theatre prides itself on putting together amazing stage shows, and Return to Haifa is a must see production. Direction will be hitting the streets in order to execute several material distributions. We’ll specifically be targeting the city and northshore suburbs , so be on the look out for us as we deliver posters and flyers to locations in your area.
Return to Haifa is at the Next Theatre February 4th through March 7th. Please visit www.nexttheatre.org for more information.

Watch out L. Ron Hubbard followers! The show that dares to poke fun at Scientology comes to the Northshore just in time for the holidays! The Next Theatre is proud to present Kyle Jarrow’s holiday hit! Eight kids star in this hilarious musical parody celebrating the life of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. The controversial teachings of the church are dissected against the backdrop of a traditional nativity play.
We have been distributing flyers and posters throughout the city and the Northshore. Considered an instant cult classic, AVMUCSP is only playing for a limited time, so be sure to see it before it’s gone, or it gets shut down by the Church of Scientology!
A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pagent is at the Next Theater through January 3rd. Please visit www.nexttheatre.org for more information.

We’re well into our Northshore poster distribution for Next Theatre’s latest production, End Days. Previews begin tomorrow night (Thursday, October 30th and End Days looks to be hilarious. The show centers on the Stein’s and their identity crisis: Mom has been “born again” and spends all day chatting with Jesus in the kitchen; Dad hasn’t got out of his pajamas in weeks and is starting to smell; and 16 year old Rachel is coping by going Goth.
Who will save the Stein’s? To everyones surprise, Rachel’s new awkward classmate, clad in an Elvis jumpsuit arrives on their doorstep to save the day. His big heart and blind optimism is just what the Stein’s need and may be their best hope for a new a beginning.
End Days opens for previews on Thursday, October 29th. Use the code “FLYER” and save $5 on your tickets. Next Theatre is located in the Noyes Arts Center in Evanston. For more information log onto www.nexttheatre.org.

As an undiscovered comet hurtles towards earth, a lone scientist takes it upon himself to preserve the human race through a personal ad. But his plan for “intensely significant coupling” is more than his first date bargained for, food is running out, and his marine lab-turned-shelter is now beyond repair. We’re very excited to be promoting Boom at Next Theatre. Be sure to check out this dark comedy before it’s too late.
Boom is at the Next Theatre through October 11th.

The Next Theatre is back again, this time with a gripping new drama. The Overwhelming, which was a great success in London and New York, is the story of an American professor who uproots his family from Illinois to Rwanda at the start of the genocide. This exciting and intriguing new drama directed by Kimberly Senior is a must see for theatre fans. We are currently in the middle of doing another poster distribution for Next Theatre, so be sure to keep an eye out for our prominently displayed goods .
The Overwhelming is at the Next Theatre April 16th through May 17th.

Next Theatre’s current production of Christopher Shinn’s Dying City, is a definite sign of the times. One year after Craig’s death in Iraq, his widow Kelly is confronted by his twin brother Peter. Carefully, the two probe the aftermath of one anothers grief and the costly secrets they are protecting in the tragedy that links their lives. Shinn has been hailed as “among the most provocative and probing of American playwrights today.” Another must- see for fans of drama.
Dying City is at Next Theatre through March 8th.
