If you’re not sure what to get that special someone or special in-law you see only once a year, a class at the Lill Street Art Center may be for you. Lill Street has classes in ceramics, printmaking, glass, metalsmithing, textiles, photography, kids classes and more. Whether you’re an independent artist that just wants to try something new or a novice that wants to dabble in something you liked 10 years ago, there’s a class for you. Classes range from one day workshops, five week sessions and ten week sessions.

The direction staff has distributed the winter class catalog all throughout the city and suburbs of Chicago.

Art Loop is back for another summer filled with exciting displays throughout the downtown area. A big part of  this year’s event is Pop Up Art Loop, which transforms empty storefronts in the Loop into a movable feast of public art galleries, exhibits and studios.  Enjoy photography, sculpture, 2D art, video and new media, installations and more.
