The Doyle & Debbie Show @ The Royal George Theatre

What started as a few month run at the end of 2011 has been extended into the warm weather months of spring. “The Doyle & Debbie Show” has been packing the Royal George night after night, pleasing crowds and critics alike. The musical romp has received raved reviews from The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Time Out Chicago, The New York Times, Chicago Magazine and more. Direction is happy to be promoting this Allied Live production. We’ve distributed handbills throughout most neighborhoods on Chicago’s north side and on our bar and venue specialty route with a focus on country locales.

Killer Joe @ The Royal George Theatre

killerjoe-headerKiller Joe focuses on the Smith family, a greedy and vindictive clan of Texans, hatch a plan to murder their estranged matriarch to cash in on her insurance policy. Unable to bring themselves to do the deed, they hire Killer Joe Cooper, a full-time cop and part-time contract killer. Once he steps into their trailer, their simple plan quickly spirals out of control.

We have been in the middle of a distribution campaign for Killer Joe, and have also been printing the promotional materials themselves. This production, brought to life by Profiles Theatre, was written by playwright Tracy Letts and is directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder.

The Hundred Dresses @ Royal George Theatre

hdpagesChicago Children’s Theatre is renowned for there family friendly productions.  This fall, their new musical, The Hundred Dresses graces the stage of the Royal George Theatre.  Written by Ralph Covert and G. Riley Mills,  The Hundred Dresses is adapted from the classic book by Eleanor Etes.  We are beginning a major flyer and poster campaign for the upcoming performances, and will be traveling all over the city and north suburbs in order to distribute materials .  Tickets are on sale now, so be sure to get yours today!

Don’t Dress for Dinner @ The Royal George Theatre

dont1The Royal George always brings a variety of high quality shows to the stage.  Starting Nov. 14th, the British Stage Company proudly presents Don’t Dress For Dinner.  Written by Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon and directed by John Tiilinger, Don’t Dress For Dinner is a comedic farse that tells the tale of well-laid plans gone wrong and the chaos that ensues for all the unlucky characters. The fall theater season is already in full swing, and this another in a long list of performances that our streetmarketing team is proud to be a part of.
