Tonight is the American premiere of the play Jean Cocteau wrote for Edith Piaf in 1940. Direct from an European run, this performance stars Noémi Schlosser in a multimedia production. With the aid of original movies from Eddie van de Velden and Noemi Schlosser and music from Tim Vets, this extremely limited run is a performance that’s once in a lifetime.
The direction team has been distributing materials for this Salomee SpeeIt production throughout the more artistic neighborhoods on the north side of Chicago.
“Sound of Silence” will be at Theatre Wit tonight until December 17. The November 30 performance will be a special French language performance. There are only eleven performances total. Purchase tickets now to ensure seats. Visit theaterwit.org for the schedule and to purchase tickets.
