After years of planning, the award-winning BBC TV series, Walking with Dinosaurs comes to life in a stunning theatrical event. Internationally renowned designers have worked with scientists to create 15 life-size dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus-rex. The Country Throwdown Tour, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, is a multi-stage, multi-city summer run that launched on May 14th in Tampa, Florida, and is making it’s way to Tinley Park! The lineup boasts a slew of country favorites including Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Little Big Town, Jack Ingram, Eric Church, the Eli Young Band, and The Lost Trailers.

We executed a quick promotional distribution in support of this upcoming show here in Chicago, visiting country western stores throughout the surrounding suburbs. If you’re a country music fan, this is one tour you won’t want to miss!

Australia’s prog rockers make there way stateside for a nationwide tour! Winner’s of several Australian awards including Most Popular Act and Most Popular Live Act, Karnivool will be tooling around the country hitting up several major cities and events including SXSW.

R&B prodigy, Grammy award winner, and Def Jam artist Chrisette Michele makes her way to Chicago as part of her latest tour in support of the new album, Epiphany.

Two weekends ago, our street team went to the Mariah Carey concerts at the Chicago Theater where we passed out handbills to all of the Mariah fans in attendance. We’ll also be in the street distributing these same handbills along with posters (which we printed) throughout the city of Chicago. White House Exhibit @ Museum of Science and Industry

Ever wanted to see what a tiny version of the White House would look like on the inside? This month, the Museum of Science and Industry presents White House: A Look Inside. The 60-by-13 foot, 1:12 scale replica is also accompanied by a photographic timeline, which chronicles it’s original construction, all the way up to present times.

To help promote this exhibit, we printed posters that will be distributed around the city, White House: A Look Inside is temporary, and your last chance to see it will be Presidents Day, February 15 2010, so make sure you check it out before it’s gone!

South Pacific @ the Rosemont Theatre

We’re very excited to be working for the first time with Rosemont Theatre on the latest incarnation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific as it makes it’s way to the Rosemont for a limited run. The Broadway classic, South Pacific tells the sweeping romantic story of two couples — US Navy nurse Nellie Forbush and French plantation owner Emile de Becque and Navy Airman Joe Cable and a young local native girl Liat — and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and by their own prejudices.

Our services for Rosemont Theatre include poster and flyer distribution throughout the Loop and our North Shore retail locations. South Pacific is only in town for 8 shows starting November 24th and running through November 29th. Often lauded as the best musical ever written, this show is not to be missed!

A few weeks back, we were given the opportunity to help promote the current Alize sponsored tour featuring Izza Kizza. Currently, the tour is rolling through the state of Michigan hitting up stops in Lansing, Ann Arbor, and of course, Detroit. The next stops are coming up in November in Dallas and Santa Barbara, so if you are in any of the above mentioned areas, keep an eye out for the posters and flyers we’ve distributed all over town.

Maxwell/Common @ United Center

Kicking off a new fall tour this September, Maxwell will come to Chicago with expat Common for a highly anticipated performance. We’ve begun a massive flyer distribution throughout the Chicagoland area in support, and will be doing various hand-to-hand distributions at shows all over the city. You might have seen us at HOB this past week for De La Soul. Keep an eye out for us at T-Pain, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and Kid Koala in the next couple of weeks, and be sure to grab a flyer from us!

Maxwell plays the United Center on October 8th. Tickets are on sale now.

Rob Bell @ Congress Theater

The famous author, speaker and founding pastor of the Mars Hill Bible Church returns to Chicago in support of his new book/lecture. Rob Bell’s latest, Drops Like Stars, which discusses the relationship between suffering and creativity, will surely draw sold out crowds. To help promote his appearance, we executed a quick flyer and poster distribution throughout the city. Be sure to catch Rob Bell when he makes his stop in Chicago, one of only four locations on his Midwest tour.

Dave Matthews Band

Today, tickets for the Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley, and First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre went on sale! DMB is known for their gargantuan summer tours and with supporting acts ranging from Femi Kuti to Jason Mraz, these shows are sure to sell out quick. In order to promote the shows and today’s onsale, we launched a huge streetmarketing campaign in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison consisting of flyer and poster distribution. In anticipation of the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, we hung posters in pubs and Irish bars in each city. DMB’s 2009 summer tour kicks off April 14th at Madison Square Garden.

Dave Matthews Band plays Alpine Valley July 18th & 19th, and the First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre September 26th.
