We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Broadway in Chicago on the pre-Broadway premier of The Addams Family in Chicago at the Ford Center. I have a special place for Nathan Lane and can’t wait to see his portrayal of Gomez Addams. This macabre new show, written by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elise is sure to be a hit so be sure to get your tickets before its too late. We are currently distributing posters promoting the show throughout the downtown loop so keep an eye out for this endearing and hilarious family of characters on the walls of your favorite coffee shop.
The Addams Family opens November 13th and runs through the 10th of January. Ticket prices are $28 to $105 and may be ordered through Ticketmaster.

Usually February is a month reserved for staying indoors to hide from the intense, brutal cold Chicago offers. But, for one weekend, Millennium Park will coax families out of their homes in order to attend Frozen Fun Fest. Featuring a wide range of activities including ice skating and theatrical performances, Frozen Fun Fest is intended for families who are sick of being cooped up during the winter, and are looking to have some fun in the cold. And while the kids are making their way through the Ice Maze, parents can enjoy a warm beverage courtesy of Starbucks while they have their Ice Portraits taken. Frozen Fun Fest has something to offer for all members of the family.
Frozen Fun Fest takes place at the Chase Promenade at Millennium Park February 7th-8th 10am-4pm.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail continues to be one of the funniest films ever made. When it was “lovingly ripped off”, and turned into a musical called Spamalot four years ago, it became one of the most popular shows, and won a Tony award for best musical. Now, it is being brought back to Chicago for a short run at the Auditorium Theatre. If you’re a fan of King Arthur, his band of loyal knights, and killer rabbits, this is a show you must absolutely see.
Monty Python’s Spamalot is at the Auditorium Theatre Jan. 20th through Feb. 1st.

The first month of 2009 brings many different and unique events to the Chicago History Museum. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the museum will present readings and musical performances that reflect Dr. King’s messages of peace and justice. Project Sunday brings the film Chicago 10 for viewers to enjoy. And, Great Chicago Stories is a seminar that everyone with an interest in the city’s history should attend. The best part is that most of these events are free. Be sure to check out what the History Museum has to offer, and download a free calender so as not to miss anything.
The Chicago History Museum is located at 1601 N. Clark St.

Back before the holidays, Cadillac Palace asked us to go out and promote for a special deal they were offering for their production of Dirty Dancing. Unfortunaletly, those days turned out to be Dec. 16th, 17th, and 18th, which was when we got several inches of snow, and the temperature dropped significantly. Even though it was brutal outside, our teams were still able to promote in the downtown area, and theatre district (you may have seen us wearing pink). We managed to get the materials out, and the promotion was a huge success. Since guerrilla street marketing is what we do best, we were able to execute this with no problem, and even though you may have missed us in the street, Cadillac is still offering great deals for the rest of the run.
Dirty Dancing is at the Cadillac Palace until January 17th.
