A Minister’s Wife @ Writer’s Theatre

Apr 28 2009

ministersWorking once again with the Writer’s Theatre, we are in the middle of campaigning for their current production of A Minister’s Wife. Adapted by Austin Pendleton into a musical, it tells the story of a minister, his wife, a young poet who passes through town, and how their lives intersect.  We’re hard at work getting the word out on this all around Glencoe, and in Chicago.  A Minister’s Wife is directed by Michael Halberstam.

A Minister’s Wife is at the Writer’s Theatre May 19th through July 19th.

Most people think you have to travel to, or be within the city to see great theater.  But just to the north in Glencoe, the Writer’s Theatre has been putting on unique productions for almost two decades.  Founded in 1992, the Writer’s Theatre looks to produce shows that merge great writing and acting together.  With 65 productions under their belt, Writer’s Theatre now presents “The Maids” based on a 1947 French thriller.  We always enjoy working with theaters that are unique, and are happy to be a part of this project.
