Set in the English countryside, the piece is about a group of friends deciding whether a woman should marry for money or love.
Head to the heart of the north shore for Graham Green's "Travels with My Aunt" at the Writers Theatre. This production, adapted by Giles Havergal, has already received much acclaim from the theater press. WBEZ named actor Sean Fortunato, who appears in this production, as one of the top five actors in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune has called the production "sophisticated and wry". The ChicagoSun-Times has said that the show is, "a grand tour for its actors". The show is highly rated and performances are selling out fast. We highly recommend planning a trip to see this rollicking show today!
The direction staff has proudly distributed promotional materials throughout the north side of Chicago and the north shore promoting the play.
"Travels with My Aunt" runs until March 27 at the Writer Theatre in Glencoe. Please visit writerstheatre.org for tickets and information.

This production, adapted by Giles Havergal, has already received much acclaim from the theater press. WBEZ named actor Sean Fortunato, who appears in this production, as one of the top five actors in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune has called the production “sophisticated and wry”. The ChicagoSun-Times has said that the show is, “a grand tour for its actors”. The show is highly rated and performances are selling out fast. We highly recommend planning a trip to see this rollicking show today!

Most people think you have to travel to, or be within the city to see great theater. But just to the north in Glencoe, the Writer's Theatre has been putting on unique productions for almost two decades. Founded in 1992, the Writer's Theatre looks to produce shows that merge great writing and acting together. With 65 productions under their belt, Writer's Theatre now presents "The Maids" based on a 1947 French thriller. We always enjoy working with theaters that are unique, and are happy to be a part of this project.
